Mushrooms contain a wide range of polysaccharides (a chain of bonded sugar molecules), which have a broad impact on boosting the immune system.

Button and Portobello Mushroom – Contains high amounts of of vital trace minerals including selenium, copper, potassium and zinc. They are also a great source of B Vitamins – vital for many chemical processes in the body, keeps the nervous system healthy and vital for energy production.

Shiitake Mushroom – Powers up the immune system, strengthens ability to fight infection and disease against influenza and other viruses, even improves immune status of individuals infected with HIV, the virus that can cause AIDS.

Enoiki – Contains antioxidants, and has anti-proliferative and anti tumour activity therefore can help prevent cancer. Contain proteins shown to have anti-cytotoxic activity and can regulate the immune system.

Morrels – High in antioxidants, which boosts the immune system and help your body resist diseases and illnesses.

Maitake – Regulates blood pressure, glucose, insulin, both serum and liver fats, such as cholesterol, and may also be useful for weight loss. Maitake is rich in minerals (such as potassium, calcium, and magnesium), various vitamins (B2, D2 and Niacin), fibres and amino acids. The beta-glucans enhance immune activity.
