The YogaFoodSpa is an enlightened new concept in wellness.  Far better than a once-a-year dash to a rebalancing holiday, or shoehorning a detox into a busy life, the YogaFoodSpa instead facilitates gentle and impactful change through its London-based day retreat, which incorporates yoga, meditation and nutritional therapy.  Participants can come seasonally to re-set and evaluate, or as a one-off precursor to starting a healthier lifestyle.  And those who need more support can visit monthly.

class is revitalising, energising and Yoga Sleep creates a sence of deep relaxation and peace. The group is small – 4 places, so you can do the whole day with friends
or meet new people.

Healthy snacks are designed to help support
your energy during the class but
will not tax your digestion.

For lunch you’ll learn a make a delicious and easy to digest recipe and discuss the nutritional values of the foods. Created from organic healthy plant based food, and is functionally designed to support digestion, liver detoxification and energy. Guilt free and delicious.

After lunch the Nutrition surgery looks at subjects like digestive health, immune boosting, joint and muscle health, hormone support, antiaging, general nutrition support or whatever are the concerns or questions of the participants might be.

Finally a short and gentle restorative Yoga session before lemon grass and ginger tea (or infusion)  and a healthy FoodSpa treat.

The YogaFoodSpa day can be done as a one off or more than once.

10am, Arrive – Enjoy a cleansing herbal tea and a healthy YogaFoodSpa energy ball.

10.10pm – 11.40pm, YogaThe day starts with a Dynamic Vinyasa Flow class tailored to all abilities to stretch out the body, release connective tissue tension and increase blood flow to the organs.

11.40am – 12.10pm, Yoga NidraA meditative, cortisol-calming yoga sleep.

12.20pm, LunchLearn a quick, easy and healthy recipe, followed by a tasty lunch rich in plant protein, phytonutrients, fibre and good fats, while enjoying an informal chat about healthy cooking.  Here is your chance to ask all your nutrition questions.

1.10pm – 2.30pm, Nutrition SurgeryMaking adjustments to your diet and taking the right nutritional supplements can make a huge difference to wellbeing.  It can help issues with joints, skin, digestion, hormones, fatigue, sleeplessness and stress.  Sam Bourne will guide you through the best changes you can make for your body.

2.40pm – 3.10pm, Restorative Yoga and Meditation  A short round of gentle sun-salutations and postures then seated for some deep breathing and just being.

3.10pm-3.20pm, Afternoon TeaWith some healthy FoodSpa-recipe treats, like mini chocolate muffins sweetened with dates and prunes, filled with health promoting polyphenols.

Sam Bourne, DipNT MBANT NTCC CNHC Registered, is a nutritional therapist and yoga teacher with 8 years experience.  Her specialist areas of interest include inflammation, immune function and digestion.  Her approach is practical and precise and she spends much of her working week furthering her own nutrition knowledge.  She started the YogaFoodSpa to improve the quality of life of her clients and share
